The exhibition entitled "How the world is measured" presents historical and contemporary binoculars, theodolites, naval sextants, mapping aids and GPS navigation stations. Among the 200 presented objects are several unique things: the sextant of Jost Bürgi and the theodolite of Heinrich Stolle from the time of Rudolf II. or the mirror sextant from the property of Napoleon I. The exhibits include foreign producers - Zeiss, Wild, Kern, Leica, as well as domestic ones - Josef and Jan Frič, Srb and Štys, Rolčík, ETA, Somet and Meopta. The atmosphere of the exhibition is provided by images of constellations with mythological figures, animals and devices (sextant) from the atlas of the Polish astronomer Jan Heveli and geographical maps from the 18th-20th century.
