Using the Kašpar JK systém Blériot, the Czech pilot engineer Jan Kašpar conducted his two most significant flights – May 13th, 1911, he flew from Pardubice to Prague, and December 6th, 1911 a flight with a passenger from Mělník to Prague. Basic technical parameters of the Kašpar JK systém Blériot XI: Single-seat, single-engine monoplane with classical tail construction, liquid-cooled four-cylinder Austro Daimler engine producing 70 horsepower, wingspan 928 cm (30.4 feet), fuselage 834 cm long (27.4 feet), weighing 325 Kg (715 lbs), top speed 100 km/h (62 mph).
