National program of retrospective conversion of library catalogs in ČR – RETROKON
Retrospective conversion of catalogs means converting card catalogs into electronic form. The basic goal is to make these catalogs, and so the associated libraries available online. Completion of the program allows wide access to the catalogs and the individual library funds, not only for local users, but also for physically distant users, online ordering of documents even from distant libraries and general improvements of the inter-library loan service. The National Technical Museum Library has been a member of this program since 2004 and has contributed over 18,000 records. Mostly these are historical funds from the National Technical Museum Library. Also, all acquisitions from 1990 forward have been added to this electronic catalog.

Digitalization
In close cooperation with the digital workshop, the National Technical Museum Library has digitized some of its rare and old prints. It has also become a partner of the Manuscriptorium project.
