The collection captures from, for instance, serial production the development of technical designs of telephones, speakers, gramophones and other products. It mainly documents the exceptional collaboration of one of the greatest Czech designers and teachers František Crhák with the company TESLA in Valaššké Meziříčí from the mid 1960s to the mid 1980s. The objects consisting of plaster and plastic models and prototypes are in this sense one of the most significant in the entire industrial design collection.
