The collection of mechanical engineering technology is divided into two basic parts devoted to manual and machine cutting Lathes, milling machines, grinders, planers, horizontal and vertical shapers, various types of drills, machine tools for gearing and some special machines such as a machine for cutting files are the main components of the collection. In addition to the actual machines, the collection also features a number of models. From a time perspective, the core of the collection consists of objects from 1890 to 1930 that are supplemented by products created in the second half of the 20th century. The collection of mechanical engineering technology contains some 300 objects.
