 Dear visitors, due to maintenance works the museum will be closing at 4.30 P.M. on Tuesday, November 15th. Thank you for your understanding.  The National Technical Museum joins the celebrations reminding us that Václav Havel would have turned 80 this year. On this occasion there will be free entrance to the whole museum on Thursday, November 5th.  On the anniversary of the first film screening in the Czech lands, the exhibition will present the unique cinematographic collections of the National Technical Museum. You will be introduced to the beginnings of cinema at the end of the 19th century and in first third of the 20th century. The exhibition will include a survey of cinematographic technologies, filmmaking and the birth of the cinema phenomenon itself.  June 11th, 2016 - Prague Museum Night National Technical Museum will be open from 7pm to 1 am.  Have you experienced night in a museum? Don't miss it this year!
