The competition of historical cars "1000 mil československých", organized by Veteran Car Club Prague in cooperation with the National Technical Museum, Design Veteran Car Club Bratislava and Autoklub ČR will finish in front of the National Technical Museum. On Saturday, August 15, 2020, between 5 pm and 7 pm, you will see the arrival of vehicles at the destination. This year, 111 crews in 5 categories will take part in the competition. Dear visitors, on 3rd March 2020 due to managing operational and technical matters National Technical Museum closes at 17:00. Last visitors will be able to enter the museum at 16:00. Thank you for your understanding. The National Technical Museum commemorates the 180th anniversary of the establishment of the V. J. Rott department store. This renowned Prague shop, founded in 1840 by Vincenc Josef Rott, was known throughout the Czech Republic for its wide range of metal goods, various household and craft equipment. The exhibition recalls the history of the Rott family, the establishment of the company and the operation of the shop and introduced a small sample of specific items from Technology in Home NTM exposition.
