The exhibit of large-format black-and-white photographs shot with a Magnola will run from May 11th through October 21th, 2012. Richard Homola is the photographer, who shot these images over the last several years as part of his photographic series "Prague's Bridges". Come to celebrations of 101. birthdays of largest steam engine in our transportation exhibition - "Hrboun 375.007". National technical museum joins to International day of Monuments and Sites by opening it's Railroad repository in Chomutov on 14th April 2012. Exhibit in the Cross Hall of the Karolinum The Philosophical College, Law College and History department of Charles' University have put together an exhibition in cooperation with the National Technical Museum. It commemorates the separation of the Charles-Ferdinand University in 1882, and runs from April 6th to May 15th, 2012. It is located in the Cross Hall of the Karolinum. The exhibit is titled "Paths of philosophy and law, 1882-2012". The National technical museum opened its 6th exhibition hall. Starting today, visitors will be able to see a giant model of New Vítkovice on the 2nd floor, one of the most important industrial heritage monuments in the Czech Republic. There is also a sugar factory model, track model with models „0“, chassis (a frame with axles and a drivetrain) of the car Škoda Octavia from 1959 – 1964, BMW motorcycle of the Castle guard and an iron truss model of the St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. The National Technical Museum has been hosting a unique exhibition since 23 September 2011. The exhibition devoted to the phenomenon of pens Parker will last until 29 January 2012. Czech Radio celebrates a significant anniversary this year. 18 May 2023 marks exactly 100 years since the start of regular radio broadcasting in the Czech Republic, then Czechoslovakia, when the private company Radiojournal began broadcasting from a humble scout tent in Prague's Kbely. From 1st March the visitors have opportunity to see temporary exhibition called Why?...Because Karel Loprais. Exhibition was originally installed in Museum of Beskydy in Frýdek Místek town, and was meant to be a celebration of Karel Loprais’ s sport successes. Karel Loprais suddenly passed away in 2021 and so the exhibition became a monument for the King of Dakar, as he was nicknamed.
First retrospective exhibition dedicated to rare pair of together working designers in 60s and early 70s of 20th century. Bohumil Míra and Milan Míšek for example developed impressive creative production for TESLA company.
